Max HP Leveling Route (Post 3.1 Patch)
There is some disagreement about how valuable going the maximum hitpoint leveling route for a new character is in the long run. A few of the most advanced players don't want to waste the time nor inclur the additional penalties. Most others swear by the need for the hitpoints, A/D, and early item/spell usage as advantages that continue to help you thru the mid-game. If you are NOT an advanced player, the majority of the players encourage you to strongly consider using the Max HP Route. In any case, the faster you can max out your character's constitution, the more advantage you will get from your early leveling. Also note: you only get HP increases from your highest guild, so the order in which you level your guilds is important. ---- Blue Knight

Warrior till 25 gives 6+Rnd*((Con - 16)/2)+1
Warrior 26 gives 6+1
Artisan till 29 gives 5+Rnd*((Con - 16)/2)+1
Artisan 30 gives 5+1
Warlock till 37 gives 2+Rnd*((Con - 16)/2)+1
Warlock 38 gives 2+1
(Rnd = Random, minimum 1, maximum (Con - 16)/2)
I do Warrior 25/Artisan 29/Warlock 38
But if your race has low constitution do Artisan 30.
*Note that paladin and artisan don't differ too much either so if you play an Elf or Gnome maybe taking Artisan isn't worth it*
Definitely Warrior 25 if you're gonna do Artisan... it's more Artisan vs. Warlock, cause on a bad Rnd*etc. roll on Warlock you get less than 6 but not with a Dwarf (small chance)...
You can get lucky or unlucky but I have been lucky (ie. more than 6 hp's on Warlock 30) till now
High con (23+): War 25/Art 29/Warl 38
Low con (23-): War 25/Art 30/Warl 38
And from Kitiara:
it is definately worth going for all warr 25, art 29 and warl 38 if you want to play a dwarf. Even the Artisan part of it (which 'only' gives 16 more HP compared to just going for warr/warl) is worth it as he gives access to some not class restricted things earlier, plus, the a/d you get from art 30 will stay a while until you warrior lvls bejond the 70s.
