Mordor 1: The Depths of Dejenol Mordor 2: Darkness Awakening Demise: Rise of the Ku'Tan

The original legacy fantasy role playing game (rpg) written by David Allen, released by MakeItSo LLC and published by IPC Software is still available while stocks last ...

Other role playing games may come and go, but Mordor 1.1 still provides a challenging dungeon crawl.

Only available as a Beta release, this version of the rpg represents a significant milestone in the development of the role playing game that would eventually become Demise: Rise of the Ku'Tan.

It introduced the multiplayer aspect of role playing games to the series and has many devotees who still play the rpg from time to time.

With access to the download version of Mordor 1 you may also download an updated installer.
The original installer (for Win2k and earlier OS) may be downloaded from here Mordor 2.

Demise: Rise of the Ku'Tan rpg  went gold in early 2000 in a release from Artifact Entertainment.  The role playing game had a few trivial bugs but was essentially complete.  This release (version 1.00) represents the original intended difficulty level.

Shortly after the release a patch was made available which allowed the game to be played without the copy-protected CD in the CD drive but it also introduced a well-hidden feature. The  "tea-room"  provided a number of benefits to the player but some thought it made the game far too easy.  This is version 1.00 build 353.

In 2004 Pharaoh Productions released a download-only version of the game which required the use of Microsoft's dotNet framework.  Its first release had virtually none of the bugs in the original game addressed, however version 1.03 does have item based health regeneration operating as well as fixes to some high level monster appearances.

December 2005 saw the completion of an agreement between MakeItSo LLC and Decklin's Domain™ for the transfer of the Mordor and Demise IP bringing both Demise: Rise of the Ku'tan and Mordor: The Depths of Dejenol to this site.
